The symbol of the exhibition is the Dalmatian pelican, and visitors have the opportunity to learn more about the efforts to bring this magnificent species back to European landscapes. In Bulgaria, these efforts include the construction and maintenance of breeding platforms for the pelicans, monitoring the species during annual censuses, tagging and ringing the birds, preventing collisions with high-voltage powerlines, as well as education and awareness-raising in local communities.

The International Symposium ”Music alongside the Danube” is dedicated to classical music traditions and modern tendencies of Danube countries and the interrelations among them. The Symposium combines a theoretical forum, live music illustrations, and evening concerts.
